About Seventh Gen Saints

I grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a seventh generation member with pioneer heritage. Its influence has permeated every aspect of my being. Almost everything that I am today can be traced back to the church. It is a huge part of my identity.

I had a faith crisis that started in 2018 and continued until December 2023, when I discovered that I didn’t believe the church was true anymore. It was devastating at first, but it also felt freeing.

Whether or not I believe in the church, Mormonism is an important part of my cultural heritage.

Some people completely reject the church after they stop believing, but I still attend church and participate in the community.

I will discuss the many toxic elements of the church and its doctrine, because I want to help people in the church and make the community better for everyone.
